Dr. Sarah Chajka HBKin, DC, Webster Certified
Dr. Sarah Chajka, chiropractor, had an athletic upbringing which drove her to pursue a Bachelor of Kinesiology degree from McMaster University and later complete her Doctor of Chiropractic degree. At McMaster University she learnt how to study and evaluate human movement and functional motor performance. During her time there she gained excellent rehabilitation skills working at an OHIP Physiotherapy Clinic and a private recreation facility. After many different volunteer opportunities such as the MAC Wheelers program (Spinal cord injury rehabilitation) she developed an interest for the human spine and nervous system which led to her studies at the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College (CMCC).
During her 4-year Doctorate of Chiropractic (DC) degree at CMCC Dr. Chajka solidified her knowledge of human biomechanics and therapeutic treatment options as it pertains to neck and back pain, and core strength. She graduated as a Doctor of Chiropractic with Clinic Honours.
Dr. Chajka believes that chiropractic care is beneficial to all. Her upbringing in an active family and years of discipline through sport and dance have reinforced this as well as witnessing the transforming effect of chiropractic treatment on all ages. While working at the Health Centre of Milton she has further developed her interest in preventative health and healing and has taken extra courses in order to give specialized attention to pregnancy and paediatrics. She enjoys giving back to the community and holds an infant massage class to new mothers in Milton to provide them with some of her tools and techniques to calm and soothe along with connect with their newborn.
