Dr. Dan Chajka, owner, chiropractor and acupuncture provider at the Health Centre of Milton was born and raised in St. Catharines, Ontario. He pursued a bachelor of science degree from Brock University and went on to attend the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College (CMCC) from which he graduated as a doctor of chiropractic. In his final year of study, Dr. Chajka had two internship rotations at separate clinics. He started at the CMCC campus clinic, learning hands-on functional testing and rehabilitation from a clinician who holds his sports and rehabilitation fellowship designation. For his second rotation, these skills were put to the test as he was selected for a clinical internship at the Sherbourne Health Centre in southeast Toronto. Here, he gained substantial experience treating patients with a multitude of conditions and unique sets of challenges.
Shortly after graduating from CMCC, he took over for Dr. Houston at the Health Centre of Milton. Here, he has continued to learn about patient care and the new challenges of running his own practice. Dr. Chajka involves himself with the Milton community by speaking on a multitude of health-related topics, as well as donating goods and time to various charities. Every year, he hosts a charity BBQ for the Rick Jeffery Kids Foundation in Milton that raises money and awareness to help kids in need of funds to play in organized sports. Dr. Chajka sees this foundation worthy of his attention as he feels lucky to have played high school football and learned the importance of teamwork and dedication. His experience with sport and helping others played a significant role in his decision to become a chiropractor.
Dr. Chajka is passionate about chiropractic and the care of his patients. This is demonstrated through his unrelenting determination towards treatment of and education for his patients’ conditions. This philosophy of education allows his patients to understand not only how his treatment can help their current back pain, but how they can help themselves with preventative tools. He works with his patients as their teacher and teammate, striving to provide the components to live a longer, happier, healthier life.
Dr. Chajka feels fortunate to be able to work with his patients to witness the body’s healing ability. He continues to build on his education through courses in varied techniques of chiropractic care. In his spare time, he enjoys many outdoor activities, movies, and oddly enough, fixing things with his hands.

Dr. Sarah Chajka, chiropractor, had an athletic upbringing that drove her to pursue a bachelor of kinesiology degree from McMaster University and later complete her doctor of chiropractic degree. At McMaster University, she learnt how to study and evaluate human movement and functional motor performance. During her time there, she gained excellent rehabilitation skills working at an OHIP physiotherapy clinic and at a private recreation facility. After many different volunteer opportunities, such as the MacWheelers Exercise program (which involves spinal cord injury rehabilitation), she developed an interest in the human spine and nervous system, which led to her studies at the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College (CMCC).
During her four-year doctorate of chiropractic (DC) degree at CMCC, Dr. Chajka solidified her knowledge of human biomechanics and therapeutic treatment options that revolved around neck and back pain and core strength. She graduated as a doctor of chiropractic with clinic honours.
Dr. Chajka believes that chiropractic care is beneficial to all. Her upbringing in an active family and her years of discipline from sport and dance, as well as witnessing the transformative effect of chiropractic treatment on all ages, have reinforced this belief. While working at the Health Centre of Milton, she has further developed her interest in preventative health and healing and has taken extra courses to give specialized attention to pregnancy and paediatrics. She enjoys giving back to the community and holds an infant massage class to new mothers in Milton to provide them with some of her tools and techniques to calm, soothe, and connect with their newborn.

Dr. Tanya Lee, naturopath and acupuncture provider, was drawn to naturopathic medicine for its core beliefs in a holistic approach to achieve health. This means that she will work with an individual to overcome their health concerns through treatments, which strengthen the body. Dr. Lee believes education and preventative approaches are considered key to successful outcomes. She does not believe in quick fixes and will recommend treatments that are the safest and most fitting to that individual.
Dr. Lee received her honours bachelor of science degree in biochemistry and biomedical sciences in 2005 from McMaster University with a minor in History. She then went on to receive her doctor of naturopathic medicine from the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine in 2009, one of the only two accredited schools in Canada. She is currently a member of the Ontario Association of Naturopathic Doctors and the Canadian Association of Naturopathic Doctors. Dr. Lee is licensed to practice under the Board of Directors of Drugless Therapy – Naturopathy (BDDT-N), which is currently in transition to join the Regulated Health Practitioners Act (RHPA).
Dr. Lee’s practice covers family medicine with a special interest in paediatrics and pregnancy. During her 1 year internship at the Robert Schad Naturopathic Clinic, she was selected to be on a competitive paediatric shift, increasing her skills, knowledge and exposure to paediatric patients. Since then, she has made the area of paediatrics a special focus in her practice, and treats a number of paediatric-associated conditions. Dr. Lee is certified as a Defeat Autism Now! Doctor (Level 1), which provides her with extensive training and knowledge in the care of children with autistic spectrum disorders. She believes that the quality of health in a person starts in the pre-natal period. Providing an environment conducive to good health for children (pre-, peri- and post-natal), ensures lower risk for chronic disease in the future.
She also treats patients of all ages, targeting a wide variety of health concerns, including endocrine disorders, digestive concerns, musculoskeletal complaints, diabetes, and cardiovascular concerns.
Passionate about research, Dr. Lee enjoys participating as a writer and investigator in a number of medical projects. She currently has two publications, one in the Journal of Integrative Cancer Therapies and the other in Integrative Health Practitioners magazine.
